Private Reserve Ink was founded by Terry W. Johnson and Susan Schube in the workroom of Avalon Jewelers/Gallery in Zionsville, IN, as an addition to the fountain pen department. Terry's vision was simple... "Why not have fountain pen ink in a rainbow of colors to expand the bounds of writing beyond standard black, blue, red and green." Terry embraced and pioneered this idea. No other company had ever produced such an array of ink colors. As an artisan ink company with a small and dedicated staff, they carefully pour, label, box and ship by hand, holding true to Terry's vision and his signature customer service values. They believe in putting their energy into production of the best premium quality ink. Therefore, their packaging and marketing are simple and straightforward.
