2007, Pelikan Majesty Gold M7000 Fountain Pen

Pelikan has created a brilliant masterpiece in the Majesty series. The fountain pen, ballpoint pen and rollerball of the series are now also available in the colour combination black/silver.

The highlight of the Majesty is a pelican frieze worked into the cap, magnificently crowning these pens with its elaborate diamond chasing. The silver frieze reproduces details from the stone wall frieze on the facade of Pelikan's historic former headquarters factory in Hanover, thus creating a link between the history of the Pelikan company and brand and the present day.

The barrel of the piston fountain pen is elaborately fluted and has one remarkable and unusual feature: a sleeve that can be slid off to reveal the ink reservoir. The cap or top section of the writing instruments of this series are repeatedly lacquered in deep black and polished, setting off the silver elements such as the rings and clip.

The Majesty is not only royal in its appearance: the technology too is of the finest. This can be felt particularly as the 18-carat gold nib with its sumptuous embellishments slides gently over the paper. The Majesty allows its owner to enjoy a very special writing experience. The noble writing instrument is kept in an exclusive case.
